WHO IS DR. MAKSYM BRESLAVETS?

 

Dr. Maksym Breslavets is the Medical Director and Founder of the Centre for Medical and Surgical Dermatology. Also, Dr. Breslavets is a lead investigator at Dermi. Originally from Ukraine, he has dual North American and European training in Dermatology that allows him to bring this unique expertise and experience to the care of his patients.

Dr. Maksym Breslavets completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Toronto. As a board-certified Dermatology Specialist, he has extensive training in medical and surgical dermatology, and his knowledge and expertise are certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is an active and in good standing Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Maksym Breslavets graduated and obtained his MD Degree from the Donetsk National Medical University (Ukraine) and completed postgraduate training in Dermatology there as well. Subsequently, he received the PhD degree at the Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. His research interest involved the assessment of biomechanical properties and image processing of the skin. Besides dedication to clinical dermatology, Dr. Maksym Breslavets is passionate about science and research as well, and he is the co-founder of the Skin e-Lab and Dermi research project.

 

Dr. Maksym Breslavets is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian languages.

Dr. Maksym Breslavets MD, PhD, FRCPC, FAAD is the active Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well the American Academy of Dermatology. His professional affiliations include Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, American Academy of Dermatology, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Canadian Dermatology Association, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society, Ontario Medical Association, and Canadian Medical Association.
