For most medications, we require a follow-up appointment to assess your progress before providing refills. In some cases, we may be able to provide a short-term refill until your next scheduled appointment.
Please bring:
- Your valid provincial health card
- A list of current medications
- Any relevant medical history or previous dermatology records
- Photos of your skin condition if it comes and goes
Yes, consultations and medically necessary procedures are covered by provincial health insurance e.g.OHIP with a valid health card and referral. However, some cosmetic procedures are not covered and will require out-of-pocket payment.
No, we do not accept walk-ins. All appointments must be scheduled in advance with a valid referral from a healthcare provider.
In Canada, you need a referral from your family doctor or another healthcare provider to see a dermatologist. Once we receive your referral, our office will contact you to schedule an appointment. Wait times typically range from 2-6 months depending on the urgency of your condition.
