UNIVERSKIN Serum P Base consists of a patented active complex: P-HC. P stands for biometric peptides, such as Kollaren, Melitane, Thymulen 4, and ECM-protect. Peptides are short chains of two or more amino acids that are present in the body due to important biological functions.
Kollaren increases skin fitness by activating protein synthesis of the extracellular matrix to generate collagen, fibronectin, elastin, and laminin. It also stimulates the renewal of the skin and restores skin biomechanical properties.
Melitane is useful for reducing skin erythema and inflammatory response, and it strengthens the skin's defence properties against the negative effects of UV radiation.
