Rutin and skin

Rutin functions as vasoconstrictor: it increases resistance, adjusts capillary permeability, and provides strength to the vascular walls. It also drains and improves the quality of lymphatic flow. For instance, rutin is able to drain all the built up low eyelid liquid formed overnight. 

Rutin is recommended for individuals with red patches and inflammation on the skin. For example, patients with rosacea and rosacea acne would benefit a lot from incorporating this ingredient into their treatment. Moreover, rutin is also recommended for individuals who have low eyelid swelling as well as give “fresh, awakening” look for the rest of the day.
